Here in Bangladesh, a key is a symbol of power, or authority, that I was told. You could see in Indian or Bangladesh movies, a scene of a woman tiding a bunch of keys to end of her sari which implies she holds certain authority in her family.
I was surprised this time again to see the numbers of keys I was given at arrival. It may be more that what I had in my whole life!! I feel nervous to think if lost one of them.
The keys in the photo are for my apartment. I signed my lease with apartment’s owner yesterday and received these keys.
These are key with spares for front door, kitchen, main bedroom, guest bedroom, , small room, bathrooms so on and on. But still, I have no idea how many keys I have. Well I should have find some way to identify those keys, otherwise, it would take forever for me to close those doors and get ready for office.
